“I happened to be in the right place at the right time to take this photo. A friend of the bride and groom mowed a heart-shaped crop circle in their front yard as a cheeky gesture of support and congratulations. A-typical of herd mentality, the wedding guests figured that if they lined the perimeter of the heart and set the bride and groom in the center they would create a good visual effect. Hundreds of feet above I was certainly better off just recording the moment and not trying to orchestrate anything. I watched as the idea came to its fulfillment in the Cessna’s third pass over the heart.”
